Excess reduction means that you lower the cost of the deductible in the event of damage to the rental vehicle.

All vehicles are fully insured.

The renter’s deductible liabilities towards the rental company for different types of insurance coverage are as follows (per claim):

Damage caused by the driver under 25 years of age (in addition to the above): 1,500 SEK.

For price groups H and I, an additional 1,000 SEK per damage category applies.

The above deductibles include applicable VAT. The renter may, for an additional fee (excess reduction), reduce the deductible for each insurance category. However, this reduction does not apply to the so-called young driver excess (applied in at-fault traffic damage if the driver is under 25), the additional theft excess (applied if the car is stolen with the key, based on the vehicle’s market value), or when using legal protection insurance (deductible according to the insurance company’s terms).

The fee for excess reduction is 125 SEK per day / 500 SEK per week for passenger cars, and 155 SEK per day / 750 SEK per week for minibuses and trucks.

Excess reduction does not release the renter from liability for repair costs resulting from negligence, such as improperly loaded vehicles, stained or damaged interiors, broken controls, and similar issues.

Smoking and animals are not allowed in any of our vehicles. If this occurs, a cleaning fee of 5,500 SEK will be charged.

Driving outside Sweden must be notified prior to booking.
